Just go google reprap printing. There are all kinds of kits and plans out there.

 

They say on this video that you can use the printer to print parts to build other printers. so if everyone goes together to build one that one can be used to make more printers, or most of the parts for more printers here's a link,

I love mine, but with it costing so much to print things I rarely bust it out.
