    I have read that the grey colored putty has iron in it which feeds algae, not something any of us wants. So just make sure neither is that kind. I do read that a lot of folks use 2 putty from hardware stores n such like loctite and jb weld, so as long as it doesn't hold mold retardants or metals or such ya should be good. I think ; )

    Honestly, for the price you can go into any LFS and buy it for close to if not cheaper than the above mentioned options. Personally for rock scaping I like the instant ocean brand, for coral placement we're trying out the reef fanatic purple thickened glue.

    Cool ill have to check out the glue thats what im useing it for is to place my coral
