I used it for a little bit just playing around. All it does is turn the power on and off to the slot the pump is plugged into. So if the pump isn't made to be controlled it isn't going to work very well.
The reason I am asking is.. I already have a new wakemaster pro and if the RKE wavemaker feature will do the same thing- I was thinking sell the wavemaster pro and get some other needed equipment!!
I am sure it will do the same thing... It just turns the sockets on and off... there is nothing fancy about it...
