Did a trial run today, everything worked great except the wavemaker. I have a wavemaker pro controller and MJ1200 w/flow kits. These are the loudest things I have ever heard. they rattle like crazy when they start up(if they even start at all). So, I'm taking a step back and looking at this wave thing again. Does anyone have any suggestions on quite,dependable powerheads?
It depends on what you are going to gave in your tank and what you want the wavemaker to do? I like korallias, size depending on what you want to do and marine tech if cost is not a factor.
lol, trust me Greg, I've made LOTS of people mad at me for things I didn't think I said in a text message lol But I agree, if money is not a problem, go with the Ecotech MP series. They are relatively expensive, but you certainly get what you pay for with them. If money is a concern, then Koralia's are the way to go. Lots of bang for your buck and they even sell controllable versions for wavemakers.
