I found this site while browsing for acrylic rod. www.usplastic.com They have acrylic rod for cheap. Bucket liners, 55 gallon drum liners...all LPDE and PP FDA approved....no leaching. I want some opinions on the acrylic rod for aquascaping. Maybe a group buy in the future here too between buckets, liners, rods, etc.
I just use 1/2" CPVC and it is very easy to make structures not just columns. I am going to be doing some aquascaping this weekend if I get all the plumbing done and will be using the CPVC to do this.
