I'm surprised to hear this as I've found flasher wrasse to be pretty hardy and not at all difficult to get eating. If you like them I wouldn't let your negative experience keep you from trying again.
My scripps acro has put on quiet a bit of growth since then as well. The only thing in the tank that isn't growing is the indo purple tip stag. It hasn't done a thing. I keep hoping it'll take off.
Dang, my Rastas have put on about 5 polyps in 2 years! LOL. Good Job Michael. Love the growth form on that monti cap.
Well, after a couple of issue I am having to basically start over. I have lost about 90% of my SPS. Only thing left healthy is my montipora digitata and spongodes, my sunset monti, and my pocillopra colony. My scripps acro may pull through not really sure about it yet. Everything else is looking great and the fish are healthy. Just sucks to have lost all the other corals.
Oh yeah. It is a super fast grower. My other colony grows a little slower but not much. It has a different polyp structure that is why I keep them both.
Did you lose that Monti Cap? Get me a list of corals that you need replaced. I may not be able to replace them all but I can try. John
The monti cap is still hanging in but I'm not sure it's going to make it. Lost my neon green birdsnest, green tip orange birdsnest, the club Millie, mind trick monti, bonsai, Hollywood stunner chalice, and all 4 of the fraghouse corals I had. I'm going to give it a little while before I put any more SPS in the tank. I got most of these from you, so I'll be getting with you to buy some frags once I think I'm ready to try again.
If I have extras of those I will just give them to you. I know I won't have extras of some of them but I do have some of them.
We missed you at the last meeting, I had your acan with me. It is happy in my tank until you are ready for it.
Thanks Kim. I gave a guy a piece of the one I had a couple of months ago. I may be able to get a piece back from him. If not I would really appreciate a piece.
