my brand new 72 bow

i have a vermited snail on one of my rocks should i get rid of that rock or are they containable any sugestions?
 

 

they are more annoying than anything. It will most likely die when your tank cycles anyway. They put out "webs" to catch food and it looks kinda funky.
Those webs can irritate corals too. I don't like them, but it's just a personal preference, you can just put superglue over the top of his little tube and that will kill it also.

Nice tank and a good start.  I tend to like the bow fronts and the 72 is a nice size for a tank.  Good luck with it and I look forward to more pics as the tank progresses.
 
 

 

I have those snails and several other versions of the same species. Those mucus strands have never caused a problem with my corals in fact my monti caps love to grow over the tubes. I wouldn't worry about it just leave it in the tank as Calvin said it will probably die during the cycle any ways.
