Does anyone have a return pump that will work good for a 75 gallon for sale or have a recommendation on a good quite one to get ?
I love my Sicce Syncra and it is very quiet. There are 2 easy things you can do to quiet any system though. 1. Use flexible tubing for your return. It isn't really needed for the drain pipes but it makes a huge difference on return pipes. 2. Put your return pump on a piece of food grade silicon mat, or wrap it in silicone mat and zip tie it on. Both of those suggestions are meant to reduce noise by reducing vibration. John
I actually have a Sicce Syncra 4.0. I bought it for my tank and then decided it wasn't big enough. It is a 950 gph at 3 feet of head pump. I've been keeping it as a back up but I could actually use my mixing pump for that if I need it. You are welcome to it if you can use it stooby. If that's too big you might consider the Sicce Syncra 3.0
