I'm getting green algae in my tank within a days time. My light is only on from 2pm till 9pm. So I'm not sure what the problem is.

    Wait a minute... AlgaeFix?

I am going to take Chris' stance on this. Chemical fixes are not going to fix this. You need to get the phosphates out of the water, not just kill the algae. I would recommend you do some water changes using RO/DI to make your saltwater, and then if you still can't get them down use a phosphate removal media like Granulated Ferric Oxide (GFO).

Where are you from cooter? I can make up some RODI water for you if you are close to Russellville. If you are closer to LRK then North Side Aquatics sells RODI and premade salt water if you need it and it is pretty cheap. If closer to Conway you have PET Country.
Lawn mower blennies will also help eat alage. And make sure you have a clean up crew to get the food that the fish do not eat.
Also remeber with just starting do not take anything personal. We all had a learning curve on such a delicate system.
