Thanks David. I didn't use that code. I had posted on Reef Central, and someone helped me get it setup where the calcium runs at the top of the hour, and alkalinity at the bottom, 24 hours a day. I need to measure the dose this weekend and make sure the output is correct.

I also got my corals in. They all look great. The milles are awesome & super hairy. I'll try to post a photo soon.

Quick video of my anemone and the millie I got yesterday. It's actually a red millie and a green millie.

    Beautiful Allan.

If you have a graduated cylinder or other measuring device and a stop watch on your phone or wristwatch you can run the pump for 10 minutes and measure the amount. Divide by ten and you have your pump calibrated.

Does your code look something like this? Interested if there is any difference and I can improve mine.

    Fallback OFF
    OSC 000:00/003:40/056:20 Then ON
If pH > 8.59 Then OFF
    If FeedB 000 Then OFF
    If FeedD 000 Then OFF

Picked up a couple of new pieces after the meeting yesterday. My lights are still blue, but I wanted to post some photos before I had to go to bed. I picked up a branching frogspawn, wall hammer, and a bubble coral from the fish bowl. The frogspawn and hammer are slightly larger than a softball. They had them all priced really good too. I'll post some photos of them under normal lighting soon.

  7. Your tank is looking great!

What is the reddish orange encrusting piece on the bottom? Monti or chalice?

It's a Psammocora. It's starting to show some growth in this tank. It's a really nice orange with some hints of blue in person.

The hammer is sweet in person. It's just brown and green, but it's large and the tentacles are long and have good motion.

  10. Psammocora! Would not have guessed that from the photo! Great new additions! I love euphyllias!

I've got my zoa/paly garden started. But I'm also thinking a euphyllia garden in one of the corners, that's why I got the yellow hammer.

Those two are WYSIWYG. Unique Corals is pretty accurate with their photos in my experience.

It's been awhile since I've updated. I have got several frags since the last update. I'm hoping they all grow out so I can share them. I got a branching gsp. This isn't a photo of mine, but it looks like it, just smaller. It's really neon green. I also got a forest fire digi, and some solid yellow palys. These palys are true neon yellow. It seems like most the yellow corals I get are pale or faintly yellow. Not these. I'll try to get photos soon.

Is the branching GSP less invasive than the regular mat GSP?

There isn't a whole lot of info online. But from what I've read, it's safe to put on rocks. It branches out, instead of spreading by the mat.
