Hi, I'm new to all this...thanks to Cam. I bought his 30g system and I really like it. I want to change a 10g tank to a refugium and need to know a site that can show me where to add the baffels, sand, pieces of rock, etc. thanks

i dont think baffles would be required for a fuge. if it were going to be a sump/fuge combo then i would consider it. something simple like three chambers should work. are you going to run a skimmer?

Baffles are easy to add. Measure the inside of the tank being pretty precise. Go to a local glass shop and have them cut some glass for you rounding the bottom corners (so it will sit down on the bottom without damaging the silicone seal) Then silicone it in place. On the baffle that you want water to go under use a two-three cd jewel cases as spacers off of the bottom. Then silicone it in place. I used VHS tapes between the baffles to keep the space even and the cd jewel cases on the bottom to make it uniform. Be sure to use aquarium grade silicone also.
