checked my parameters and every thing look grate but the
    PH was at 8.0
and the KH was at  dkh7 ppm125.3
my test kit says the kh should be at between 8 and 12 dkh and ppm at 143.2 to 214.8
so what dues it do to your corals having it that low?
what will bring it up? klasser?
is there anythng from the kitchen that will work?
    Thanks Glen

Ph of 8 is just fine especially in the winter when the house is mostly closed up. As for alk there are numerous additives for it or go to the chem forum here and read the Randy Holmes Farley article on making your home mix. Baking soda is the item you want to use. Raise it over a period of days not all at once. 7 isn't enough to get stressed over and it only even matters if you have corals with skeletons, if all you have is softies and no clams don't worry about it.

I wouldn't raise it over about .50 a day, otherwards it should take about 4 days to get from 7dkh to 9 dkh. slow is the best. To late now.
