as the subject implies.. wondering who uses 2 part instead of running a calcium reactor.. also what brand 2 part are you currently using?

Only consider a calcium reactor if you have a very large tank, such as a 120 gallon or larger. It's not that you can't do it on a smaller system, it just doesn't make that much sense.

Wake up, make coffee while getting top off water. 2. Enjoy coffee while dosing, maybe a little feeding, check the collection cup, spritz the mangrove. 3. Get sucked into looking at the tank, run late for work :}

Re: who all uses 2 part instead of running a calcium reactor I also make my own. Baked baking soda, 2 cups mixwd in a gal of RO/DI H2O. I buy CA from pool supply store (I think about 25#for about 35 dollars) which is 99% pure CA. Again, alittle over 2 cups in one gal RO/DI H2O. I have bought from Bulk Reef Supply and their products are good. I use their dosing recommendations for my 220 gal tank. Good Luck! Eddie
