I use Salifert for everything but pH (get that from my Apex). Don't know about accuracy but they are surprisingly consistent when I have checked.

I've heard a lot of people claim the API ammonia always registers 0.25 but I have one and it always agrees with the Salifert and its color chart is easier to read to me.

I use Red Sea for calcium, mg, and nitrates. I use a Hanna checker for alkalinity and phosphates. I like salifert test kits too.

I use an API as I have a fairly new tank and had the same issue with my ammonia (not sure if it was 0 or .25) but solved it by using new saltwater as a baseline sample & comparing the color to a sample from my tank. I'm looking Salifert & Elos for magnesium, calcium and alkalinity.

I also use an API test kit. It does good for me always consistent and accurate, and also isn't pricey.
