I have two "common" seahorses. The male is black and white tiger striped. The female is a yellow and grey tiger striped. They have produced one set of young so far. However, I have not set up a separate tank for the babies to live in so they didnt make it. They re good eaters and are healthy.  I have had them almost a year now. They eat live brine shrimp or frozen brine shrimp twice a day. Once in the  morning and once in the evening.  They live with a mandrin goby and get along ok. We have two kids and work fulltime jobs.  No time to give sea horses the atttention they need. Paid $80.00 for both asking $50.00. PM wireless number and will text pictures.

Right now it isn't the prettiest in my opinion.  I'm keeping them in a ten gallon I had set up until I get my 15 bow front up and running again.  I haven't done anything with sumps or refugiums yet but I think I want to try it with this tank and my horses.  I'm going to need help though.  I can't drill holes or anything and I'm having trouble understanding the mechanics of the whole external filter thing.

Just find a member close to you and go by and see a setup. I am in Bryant and Norman is in Conway. Sometimes just seeing a setup brings it full circle.

I agree, until I started working at an lfs and had to deal with sump
systems did I start learning about them. Now I won't  have a tank with
out one!  I even have a sump on my five gallon, haha.  Have someone explain their set up to you while your looking at it and you will be good to go.

I've seen a big one.  I can't remember the names but it is the couple in Jacksonville with the 200 gallon in wall aquarium.  I pretty much understand how that one works for the most part but that is much bigger and more complex than I will need.  I would really like to see a nano tank.  But I'll start meeting people and maybe I'll find someone that has one around here.  Now I'm curious how you have your 5 gallon set up.  I am also hoping to have a stand built pretty soon for at least my 15 gallon bow front then I will try to set something up to fit that hight.  I really like tanks that are higher off the ground.  I have a 55 gallon fresh and it drives me nuts because I feel like I have to lean down to see in.  It's pretty neat.  I have a bush fish, a green sunfish and a bass in there with some drift wood.

I'm sorry.  But maybe you could tell me what you think?  I have the 15 gallon bow front and a 29 gallon cube.  I love both tanks and think they would both look great with seahorses.  What I don't like about the 15 gallon is that if a fish is on the side, YOU CAN'T SEE IT unless you look into the side.  It really sucks when your trying to net something LOL.  It's like they just disapear.  What I don't like about the cube is that, because it is a cube, it is very deep all around so if you have something small, it's hard to really see.  Plus, it is tall and the stand is tall so I have to get on a latter and put my whole arm in it to move anything around.  What do you think?  Whatevever I go with, I want to put a sump on and hopefully a refugium, I don't know and want to keep pretty much all my live rock and stuff there.  I don't want so much stuff in the tank I won't be able to see the horses very much and want them to have plenty of swiming room.  Maybe some kind of grass and a blue background.
And about the tank build thanks I will check that out for sure.

I should have the link fixed now

As far as which tank you want to set up I would probably go with the 29 for the water volume.  With a sump it won't be a hundred percent necessary but with so much feeding the more water the better as long as the horses aren't to small for the tank.  From the description I can't tell quite what they are but i'm thinking they are not hippocampus and might be Kuda's.
