snowflake eel

    ok i got my snowflake now and was wondering are they hard to feed or will he just eat like the rest?

    They are almost blind. The one I had I fed goldfish. He would eat a dozen every three or four days. He was about 18 inches long. I would scewer the first one to get the scent in the tank and he would come out fighting.

    For a baby, I would dip krill in a bit of garlic and use tongs so he doesn't bite your fingers.  Once he gets bigger start feeding clam and silversides.  They are the easiest eel to get on to frozen.
