Hey everyone. I bought a used skimmer from NSA a few weeks ago and now I wish I wouldn't have. I have no idea how it works or even if it works. I dont even know how to test it. Does anyone keep in contact with the folks that used to work at NSA? I need help. John
I guess it doesn't matter now. I put it in the bath tub, plugged it in and watched smoke billow out INSTANTLY and fill my bathroom with smoke. Apparently one of the two pumps that are attached is fried. I'm pretty mad, that was a waste of $100.

Could you post a photo of the skimmer so we can at least see what it looks like, might be better to help.
I got a hold of them, we are working something out. My wife plans on getting me a new skimmer for Christmas. I'm looking at the Skimz line of skimmers now. Does anyone have any experience with them? John
John, Vanessa that worked at NSA was working at the Fish Tank in LR a few weeks back. She is pretty knowledgeable about equipment, you might check with her. I'm having a skimmer issue also, going in to talk to her when I get a chance. Good luck. Jerry
