I have been running Vegas for about one and a half years with good results. My Deep Blue and Blue max at 100%. My Cool White, Royal Blue, Green and Red max around 35 to 45% and the max is set for about four hours a day. My lights are about seven and a half inches above the water.
My deep blue and blue are being ramped up to about 95% over about 5 weeks via coral acclimation mode. My royal will be about 50% at the end of the acclimation, red/green about 25% and whites about 45%. My lights are about 13" off the water but my tank is only 21" deep. I had my whites a little higher and my blues a good bit lower before this change. Chalices, euphyllia and montis we're thriving. Birds nest (3 kinds) were growing with good color. Acros were a mixed bag. Most growing well, some with good color but a few I wasn't satisfied with.
