I'm going to start setting up my tank this weekend. Have almost all of my equipment except my return pump (well my skimmer is on back order but should be here the first of next week). My tank is 130 gal (72x20x21). The pump I was looking at was 950 gph with 12.5' max head. Is that enough?

Skimmer is an SWC180 (not sure what it's pump rating is but less than 950 I'm sure). I will probably plumb a manifold for future use. Suggestions welcomed!

I would use a Dart Gold from Reefflow. Would give you excellent service and plenty of flow. Thats what I use on all my systems I set up over about 80 gal. If you would like to see one just come by and have a look.

For an external pump I agree, I have Dart's on both of my tanks; could not be happier. If you decide to go this route PM me and I will give you a tip that will save you a few bucks.

Above advice is awesome for external (which I would recommend if it is an option for you), and for an internal, the Danner Mag Drive pumps are the best IMO. Easily serviceable and work very well.
