so I have a 30 gallon aquarium whats brands are good for protein skimmers and what sizes would I need?
I Was looking at the Hydor Slim-Skim Protein Skimmer any word on how this product is ? It got 5 stars on petcos website but there was only 1 review and it did not say much
I've heard mixed reviews about the Hydor slim-skim. Never gotten to play with one personally. As far as nano skimmers go I like the aquatic life nano skimmer for the price, the reef octopus nano rated for 50 gallons is a beast of a skimmer but a little bigger than most nanos, and if price is no option the tunze nano skimmer is simply amazing.
I've got a aquamedic blue 500, because it is very quiet. I agree the Tunze 9002 is probably the most raved about nano skimmer. Aquaticlife probably the best bargain.
