Just out of curiosity more than anything, does anyone know how the propagation of clams happens?  I know they are inverts so unlike corals, you can't just cut them in two, but I am just curious how places like ORA make it happen with their aquacultured ones.

Do they just pack tanks full of them and let them have clam sex orgies or is it much more than that?

Lmfbao@ clam orgies. I think they collect them and do the same thing you would do with fish larvae feed them then let them settle like corals do them you will have a baby clam that is super tiny. And then grow them out. I was watching on tv where they'd a whole field of 2 to almost 4 foot clams.

Oh and it wouldn't be in a tank not a conventional tank but an outdoor tank with fresh salt water pumped in every so often. I know that's how ORA propagated the bluish purple goniapora.
