Ok guys here is another ? I have!! I fixed my bulkhead today and it holds water without leaking back into the sump that I can tell but now my other overflow box when I tried to fill it up with water it just leaks back into my sump! Is this supposed to happn I have figured it out to be coming from my other return pipe! God Sorrry for all the ?'s I am so Lost!
How long does it take to leak out? If the drain plumbing inside the overflow box isn't glued, which it typically isn't, it will eventually seep through the gaps in the fittings
well in my opinion it is draining into the sump pretty fast Im thinking i might have to cement that return pipe in as well but going to have reefman look at it before I do that lol!
Thats a good idea. Don't cement the pipe in yet. Let someone look at it first. There are times that you want to take the returns and standpipes off for cleaning etc. Just go slow, don't get in a hurry.
