Was messing with my controller last night and forgot to disable the email alerts. My controller just sent several international texts to me in Mexico to tell me my pH is above 8.4. LOL. My wife pays that bill! Seriously, I'm not a gadget guy for the most part but it's pretty cool to sit on the balcony looking across the bay at Cancun and I know that the temp in my reef tank is 79.8, the pH is 8.38, my alkalinity doser is on, my lights are about to go out and my whole tank is pulling a little less than 4 amps at the moment. Hope to post some pictures of our first day of diving tomorrow night!
That is great David. When I was in Florida a few weeks ago we had a thunder storm here at home. We lost power for a few minutes and my controller texted to let me know when the power went off and came back on. One of my return pumps stuck off which also made the auto top off alarm come on. I was able to walk my house sitter through the process of getting it started again by watching him through my webcam. Pretty cool stuff! Can't wait to see some pictures, David!!!
