Well the big day is here at last. Chris came today and installed the canopy for the 400gal and it looks great. We decided to use just 8 VHO. Partly for heat issues and partly because I like the soft lighting on the fish as they do not require the strong lighting of a coral or reef tank. There are 4 VHO on each side powered by 2 ice cap 660 ballast. The canopy is in 2 halves to make removal and service easier. He did a beautiful job on the canopy and I can't wait to see the rest of the panels for the bottom of the stand. I will post some pics shortly. Thanks again Chris.
The 200 reef is complete, cycled, and being stocked. I want to thank Marti and Jim for babysitting my corals during this build. She brought them over a couple weeks ago and they all are doing great. The 60 gal free standing refugium is online and running. I will also post pics when I get them.
