I have a JBJ 28 nano cube and I need to know if I can fit a Oceanic 29 protein skimmer? I saw that the Oceanic protein skimmers are built better than the JBJ's.
It will fit, but in my personal opinion and experience those skimmers are a hit or a miss, I've had some that work great and I've had some that no matter how much you mess with them they just wont stay set.... For about 15 bucks more you can get an aquatic life nano skimmer which is powered by a pump not an air pump and I believe it should fit but you might want to measure the back part just in case, I have one of these skimmers so I can send you the exact measurements.
Okay I just set up the skimmer and so far it is working fine. Nothing wrong with a little extra filtration and a bonus for everyone in the tank.
