I know it is still two months out but November's meeting is the 2nd of our two big meeting a year. Is there be any interest in doing a frag swap? I spoke to the guys at WuW and I know they are willing to come down for a frag swap. What do you guys say? John
I'm not going to be able to attend but in the past it's been held at The Fish Bowl in Searcy and a fragging workshop was the main event. Everyone paying for the workshop got 3 nice frags of different corals. The Fish Bowl usually has excellent deals on the fish and coral specifically for the day of the event. I know in the past frag trading has been discouraged when having an event at one of the LFS. Imo, I don't think having another shop bringing frags to sell at The Fish Bowl is a good idea.

Hey guys, I don't know how to get it rolling, but I think you would have an awesome turn out for an event like this. Some of my friends and I have always wanted to go to a swap, but they're usually too far for me to make it. Having one in Little Rock would be swell. I agree that having one in a LFS might not be the best idea, but I'm sure we could find a place. Let me know if I can help in any way. Vanessa
I think the 21st is the date regardless of what we do. If we are doing the meeting at the Fish Bowl then we can do a frag swap some other time like the 1st quarter of 2016. Just a thought. John
Hiya The event is held in the scrapbook shop next to the Fish Bowl. I don't feel it would be a good idea to bring items from other groups to this event. The sponsor has always been generous with the grand prize and great deals on frags and fish. Last year I got a yellow tang for pretty much cost. Kim/Benton, AR
If I get my diy frag tank done I will bring it and set it up for a frag swap. We should see if there is a local place like a police station or city hall that we could do an event at. I have seen a couple in other states at places like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If we are doing the Fish Bowl, then we shouldn't do it at a LFS. I know in December we usually do dirty santa. Maybe we could also incorporate a frag swap, and really fill our tanks up for Christmas. Last Christmas was my first one, but I remember it being well attended.
I also know there are a lot of reefers in Jonesboro who have been interested in setting up a frag swap, and would be interested in attending if we could work one out. I could get in touch with them.
