My team all chipped in to buy me a new wrasse for Christmas. I tease with them all the time about wish list wrasses. never in a million years did I think they would do it. For my birthday they printed off a pic of a pin tail wrasse and framed it. They really surprised me today! i was hoping to get a red sea eight lined flasher but liveaquaria sold out. So I selected a golden rhomboid instead. It should arrive on Wednesday next week. I think she is going to be a real beauty!
Welcome to the wrasse freak club! Rhombids are beautiful. That one is definitely on my list of possibilities. I also agree with the 8 line flasher. If you intend to get any other flasher wrasse I'd get the 8 line last. It's the most fiesty of the flasher wrasse.....like a small fairy wrasse.

Well liveaqauria.com made an error and shipped the rhomboid wrasse to my old address even though I updated it online and called to verify. I spent most of my morning trying to figure out how to get the Fish. I tracked down the ups truck and met him in Sherwood around 11 this morning. Unfortunately it was doa. I followed up with LA and they are sending me a eight line and a hooded fairy wrasse to replace it. Fingers crossed that they both arrive healthy on Friday.
I'm so sorry to hear that Jason. Same thing happened to me with my yellow fin and Labout's wrasse. Fortunately I was watching the tracking info and when it said delivered and it wasn't here I figured it out quickly. Fortunately mine were fine.
Apparently la drop ships from a wholesaler unless it's divers den. LA faxes order updates and my address didn't get keyed by wholesaler. Maybe fax machine was out of paper. I was somewhat shocked by the whole thing. Why in the modern age would an online retailer be using a fax machine?
Yep Live Aquaria fish come from Los Angeles via Quality Marine. Diver's Den stuff comes from their facility in Wisconsin.
