Somehow Mike (ljinks) managed to talk me into putting a frag tank in our dining area attached to the kitchen..... So, Kevin built the stand and canopy and Mike has been busy since Saturday priming and painting the stand to match the cabinets in the kitchen. We've yet to get the tank into the stand or the doors back onto the stand but it's in the spot and the canopy is assembled!
Thanks so much Kevin for building the stand and canopy!  It's just lovely and we're thrilled with it.  The rolling top is going to be so great when we get the lights on and everything set up.

Us either!  We ran into a couple of snags, but hopefully we'll get them fixed up in no time and be back on track.  I'm looking forward to it!

Thats a very nice looking frag system. I'm sure it will be very nice to have that much room for the frags you guys have.

That is just awesome, I want one. Has anyone thought of doing a double stack? or is that not possible.

  9. Beautiful new frag tank !

Thanks all for the kind words!  We're really excited about it.  It should give us some much needed room for everything when it's up and going... which hopefully we'll be able to get some water in it soon and make sure everything is working as it should!
Gregnlr, it is possible.  Blake of Christmas Coral Farm (also known as sdf_beanhead) has a double stack setup that is nice.  You could probably get in touch with him and make arrangements to take a look at his tanks if you'd like.

    Blakes tanks are double stacked
It works but weve come to realize that climbing the ladder to work on the second tank is a pain

Unless you planning a remote sump where you can lower the too tank I wouldn't recommend stacking

Im sure you can stop by and check out mine and blakes tanks both if u want

If your goin to the meeting from NLR you pass by our houses
And it would be easy to stop by
