I HAVE to get all this crap out of my tank... its bothering the peawaddle out of me to have all this equip in my main tank... but getting the water to the sump seems to be an issue i hope one of you can help me with... I know there are HOB over flows and so forth so on.. but i really wish my tank was drilled, but i cant have it drilled ont he bottom because its not on a stand... its on my kitchen counter...

So here is what i want... you tell me if it can be done...

As you can see i just want a courner over flow... but i dont know if the hole can be drilled where i want it drilled... also i dont have any tools to work the acrylic for the overflow... I would really like to have something like this and if you can help me out I would pretty much owe you the world... Or atleas a beer...

I would of course be willing to buy a new 10 gallon be drilled and supply acrylic if i knew what to get and what ever else is needed... I just hope someone can help...

    got any pics dflipp?

    im interested... very interested...

Through i was thinking about putting the heater in the over flow to save room in the sump since i was just thinking about a standard 5 gallon for the sump/fuge...

The flow through the fuge wont be enough to heat the entire tank... and i wanted to split up the sup so the skimmer was in its own lil area....

Hmmm i will ponder on this...

btw who is this chris and would he mind helping me out?

We (as a club) have the diamond bits for cutting holes for 1" and 1-1/2" bulkheads. Chris has rigged up his drill press to allow him to drill tanks with ease.

Just a quick question.... What brand is the 10 gallon tank? If it is a Perfecto then the walls are tempered, but if it is an All Glass Aquarium brand then it can be drilled. As for other brands I don't know.

Ok for an update ive decided to drill the bottom... so im gonna do a corner over flow like first said...

To do this though... i have to build a "platform" for all my elbows and tubing to clear... so basically i have to get a good miter saw and some trim... Ill keep yall updated...
