Pics???? I have two 250 watt magnetic ballasts that I scavenged out of overhead bay lights. Sam said these will work fine as that is what he was using on the 90 gallon. There are in boxes and everything. Just need a cord wired on to plug in and wired to the fixtures....cousin is an electrician so I'm good to go.
Nevermind, I see the pics now....didn't at first for some reason. I see they are DE so the ballast I have I don't believe will work. I need mogul. Or will they fire them?
If using a magnetic ballast, it needs to be a M80. Talked to Blake and he can get you a dual electronic for $214, or a dual pulse start magnetic M80 ballats for $194
Since I already have these and they are good and I have the mogul bases already I think I'm gonna buy some good reflectors and run them. I know you can run a 250w mogul and i kinda like the UV shield built into the bulb. If I didn't already have the ballasts I would buy them.
I would not mind picking these up. Don't know what I would use them for right now, but still would like to get them. Interested in trading for some corals? How old are the bulbs?
Yeah, I would not mind them, but I have shelled out a lot of money lately (buying the tag and sales tax on the Challenger). I don't currently need them, but I can not resist buying extra stuff sometimes. Its the pack rat in me.
