Met with Roger McGee for several hours today in Conway and discussed Razorback Reefs current website and options for expanding its functionality in the future. Roger was a team leader for Acxiom for 5 years and has gone through numerous certifications with Sun Micro Systems and Hewlett Packard before having to deal with health issues. He is very excited about working with Razorback Reef and I was very excited about some of the things that he showed me that can be done with our website. He spoke at length about utilizing a web builder named Joomla! that is very user friendly and has over 1500 plugins that range from standard templates, cool calenders and even membership tracking. Roger is a licensed user of Joomla and other programs that would be very useful and add a great deal of functionality and professionalism to our website. I provided Roger with the header that was presented in the forum several months ago that was debated over and all of RRMAS's logo combinations to begin working on a template to present to the board in the coming months. Stopped by NSA to break the bad news to Shannon that a card malfunction in my camera lost all of the pictures that were taken during the open house last Thursday. I felt horrible - I took the card to Bedfords where they tried a recovery of the data but the card was physically damaged. Most likely when I set it down behind the projector fan for about an hour that afternoon. I learned a hard lesson.
