Since two out of three of my Koralia powerheads quit, I decided to get a couple of MJ1200s and mod them. I bought kits at www.sea-flo.com. The mods take about one minute to install. The flow is VERY strong.
maji-jet 1200 10x mod. NSA has something that supposed to make the MJ flow 10x. It basically mounts a propeller instead of the standard shaft. The problem is mounting it because it basically changes the input to be the output ( which normally points down ). It's 14$ I have not mounted it because I have no way to mount it yet.
I've never used those or seen them in action. But i bought two of these LINK and use the black props on two mj 600's in my 46 bow on one algae free magnet arranged side by side same as in the picture they show. And WOW the flow is great and they swivel plus they come with two props and can be used on all mj's 400-1200
I just got the mounting bracket. It's putting out a LOT more flow. I don't know if it's 10x but, I would honestly guess 5x or more.
