I've got a thriving colony of Magician Paly's that I'm thinking of fragging a few heads off. I'm not going to unless I have interest in them. I'm thinking $7 a head. They are very healthy. I'm attaching a photo. If interested, let me know and I'll get them fragged, healed, and ready for the meeting in a couple of weeks. Photo is taken with Iphone 4s so it doesn't do it the justice it deserves, but here it is.
Wow! Those are beautiful! I would definitely be interested. How many polyps per frag are you thinking?
Just a thought, In the past we have been careful about conducting any sales or trading frags when the meeting is at a store or sponsor. I think we should be considerate of their business and make other arrangements to swap and sell. We have had store owners see this going on in the parking lot and got upset. We don't want any more negative comments about our club. The free frags we give to members is a little different, we usually purchase the coral from the store to give away. I'm just saying lets be considerate of their business.
Hey John I think that mango passion really needs to be trimmed up while your at it Sent from uh......
Okay, I got these fragged up today. Here are the frags I obtained. $7 per polyp 1 polyp frag, 2 polyp frag, 4 polyp frag, 6 polyp frag, 9 polyp frag and a small colony with at least 17 polyps. Shawn, David Martin and alpineroush have first dibs. I'll post photos once they relax and open up. I'd prefer to wait at least a week to let them heal up well so I don't give you something that is not going to make it.
Here are some of the frags that I have of magician palys, 1 nuclear holocaust paly, and if anyone is interested, I can get you a frag of the neon green zoas.
That neon green zoa colony is impressive! Why does it look so different in that last pic? When do you want to get rid of them John? What is that largest frag mounted on?
The first photo of the green zoa colony is from the side which is a bit shaded while the last view is from above under full light. All photos are with an iPhone 4S. I'll attach a photo of them under blue LEDs. I try to place my frags on a variety of things, the largest frag is on a 1/2 clam shell, some are on rock rubble, tile, frag plugs.
I'm headed to Fayetteville very early tomorrow, but will be around the house on Sunday. You're welcome to come by.
Got by to see John and picked up my Palys plus a couple of beautiful zoa frags. Opened within minutes of completing acclimation. (I've got yours Cory). Thanks John! I enjoyed seeing your beautiful tanks! I don't know where those bottom 3 pics came from?
