MACNA 2010 Registration

  1. I have registered for MACNA 2010 in Orlando for next year. Roxanne and I will be going on Tuesday Aug 31st and returning on Sunday Sep. 5th. I am not sure wether we will be flying or driving. My mother will be going down for the trip as well so we will most likely be flying because it is an awful long trip down, but that remains to be seen. I did only register for the trade show and speakers and not the banquet because Roxanne and I usually always go out on the town and skip the banquet so for everyone else that is going please don't count on us for that part of the conference. Sometimes the speakers are good but for the most part I would much rather visit the city that the conference is in that night then go to the banquet. I have not looked into the everything to do - I imagine that a trip to Disney World will be a must, what other suggestions does everyone have? Hope that everyone will consider going - I have never been to Orlando but I understand it is a top notch vacation destination.

There is almost too much to do when in Orlando/Kissimmee, the Disney parks are great fun I usually go twice a yr. Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are my favorites but alot of that has to do with the rides at those two parks. If you like rides there is also Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure not to mention Seaworld, but plan on sweating cause Orlando in August can be brutal at times lol. If you like Hot Rods Old Town in Kissimmee has a Friday nite cruise that I think is only 75 and newer rides and on Sat nites it is 75 and earlier models that is the nite to go for the old school hot rods.

We really enjoyed epcot the most, but it is mostly for grownups. It takes a couple days just to do it right.
