I FINALLY got to order my new tank!!! I am supposed to meet glasscages in Little Rock on March 26th to pick it up. I need some help moving it from their truck to my truck and then from my truck to the stand in my house. So here is the fun part... It is a 280! 72"L x 36"W x 25"H. I figure 6 people to move it comfortably. I have two of those 6 already lined out, just need 4 more. I am thinking some time around noon on the 26th.
I would so be in on that, but I have a work commitment sampling fish on Fourche Creek that day. The dimensions sound awesome! Good luck.
If you didn't live like 5 hours from me I would help for sure. But my wife works that day, I have two small children, and ten hours in the car for them is a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad thing.
Blake if you don't fill the roster I can help. My back ain't the best, but it is okay for short periods.
Thanks everyone for the offers to help. I will let everyone know if we have enough help later today. This is going to be a long month waiting on the delivery day!
Ok, received a call from Glasscages today. The truck is supposed to be at the Pilot truck stop off exit 161 on I-40 (Maybelline exit) at 3pm. This is the next exit after the I-440 exit on I-40 east. I am planning on being there at 2pm. Anyone who would like, we can share a ride. I will be driving my truck and Ljinks will have his truck. We are picking up a 135 gallon tank there as well. Friday is so close!!!
Thank you to Sam, Kevin, Mike, and Nadia for helping get the new tank to the house. I have pictures to upload of the move and the tank in place. I will start a new tank thread with the progress of the build as soon as I can.
lets not forget those that actually got it IN the house... thanks again to Greg and darrell and cousin and Mrs. Christmas for giving the ok to make big holes in wall for glass boxes can she talk mine into big glass box too?
