I was at petco picking up supplies when I asked witney who is also preident of this site and I asked about live sand he said that it problably had gotten too hot in the truck on the way to petco and that the bacteria problably dies where can I get live sand at a reasonable price that is actually " live" THANKS!!
The live sand I bought actually had a bacteria packet that you added. My suggestion is "DON'T" get the sand unless its for the refugium. Get the reef grade sand for The Fish Tank or where ever then add a bottle of the bacteria which you can buy at PetCo once you add your rock.
