Hey everyone I am going to try and start a thread on random equipment, peoples techniques and ideas for many products, corals, and fishes. So if you have any input lets here this topic will be "lighting". Let us here your experiences and personal favorites. I am mostly a LED guy myself only because of the vast technology behind it and programability. I can say that I have one of the expensive lights and I also have the cheapo chinese lights. In my experience my cheap lights looked better and seemed to grow corals like crazy when compared to my maxspect razor. Although I am looking into adding a couple t5 lights to my frag tank due to the vast experience and performance of other growing beautiful corals not only with amazing color but with excellent growth. I am trying to go for a wide variety of corals in my frag tank and my reef so a hybrid mixture might just be the way to go. What are your experiences with lights and how they are effecting your corals?
