ISO wanting to buy Paly, Zoa, and clove polyp frags

Discussion in 'Buy/Sell/Trade' started by NatalieMadison, Feb 19, 2017.

  1. I'm currently looking for brightly colored Paly and Zoa frags to fill in my archway Zoa garden in my 29g nano cube. I'm also in search of clove polyp corals.

Anyone interested in selling a frag?

    Thank you!

I have a 2 or 3 polyp frag of Rastas I will give you. Be careful with the clove polyps. They can get invasive in some tanks. I do love the way they look though.

  3. Thank you! Is there something I could trade for them or can I offer to purchase them?

And for the star and clove polyps, I'm reading that you can peel these guys off the rock in sheets...but damage can cause toxin release in the water. Is this true and if so...how do you keep these guys trimmed back?

And one last question, in my next build I'd like to use acrylic dowels instead of super glue and epoxy to hold my rock work together. I'd like to be able to break down the tank and pull out an entire rock if needed. I haven't seen the acrylic dowels online. I may just not know the right search term/name to find them. Any thoughts on where I can purchase acrylic dowels?

    Thank you again!
Rastas would be a perfect addition!

  5. See? Sometimes I just need someone to pop a new search term into my brain! I was fixated on "dowel". USP comes up immediately. Thank you!

I love rastas! I recently got a tiny 3 polyp frag that has already grown into 5! I can't wait for it to get bigger. Each polyp is still so tiny though. Much smaller than any of my other zoas.
