So we have decided to move to little rock and have been looking at houses. Today we walked into a place in the heights and I cought myself looking for a place to put my seven foot tank the second I walked in. I feel this has to be normal right? Haha

Well thats not really bad, I just designed my house around my tank room !!You know you have maxed out your reefness when you put a drain in the floor and consider tubular skylights for your tanks. You'll get there, but it's a good start.

    Hiya,

I have people ask for specific things in their house and yards all the time due to their hobbies. So, no it's not weird. Though, I'm hurt that you didn't ask me to help you find a home. ::SNIFF::

Haven't had the disease long but I'm pretty sure there is no cure. Does anyone else wonder how much phosphate is in that soap while you're washing your hands?

We're looking to rent so it never crossed my mind to have a realtor help us. But if you know of any houses for rent in little rock I'm all ears. I hate house hunting!

Also I've always been aware that there is the chance that I would have to downgrade my big tank due to size of house if I moved to a smaller place or apartment and my girlfriend told me no because she loves it haha.

    Hiya,

Finding rentals can be a pain. I know in Saline County they're way hard to find. I've no idea how hard they'd be to find in Little Rock.

We found the perfect place yesterday but someone else emailed her the same day we did so she felt bad about not showing it to them after we went and saw it. So while we were waiting to go give her the deposit after they left, she called and said they other people decided to buy it so we didn't get it. Very frustrating!!!

Found a place to live!!! Now to plan a 200 gallon tank move... I have 15 days till we start moving and I have both houses for 2 weeks. This should be fun!

I'm about to start house hunting as well. I'm going to take my house buying course so I can get $100.00 off my closing costs lol. I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes but $100 is $100.

Lol honestly it doesn't make much difference at all, but $100 is indeed $100. Quick tip though... Sometimes if the offer is right the sellers will pay closing costs to get the house sold. Get your pre-approval letter from the bank for the amount you're looking to spend before you really start shopping so when you do find the perfect house they seller knows you've already talked to someone about financing and you're good to go. Or at least that's our experience.
