After adjusting a return line, the line started surging over the back of the aquarium. We didn't notice until things started shorting out. As of now, I have a DIY light unit I will be replacing as cables became disconnected and I have zero electrical or home repair skills. I have a skimmer pump that continues to short out the power bar. I have a small collection of corals that cannot go into my 55 due to coral eating fish. For the record boys and girls, the person who tells you a Klein's butterfly is reef safe is deluded. So I have some questions, requests Does anyone have a potential place in a frag tank for two colonies of zooanthids, a war coral and the purple chalice we got at Fragfest. Worse comes to worse, I guess I can start over. Is my skimmer pump toast or is there a way to make it functional again? Does anyone want a reclaimation project of a 72" light diy led fixture?
Oh no! So sorry to hear this Fishbait! I would think the skimmer pump is toast if it is shorting out the power bar. Does other equipment work with the power bar(is the power bar functional?). Let me know if there is anything I can do!
