One of my two clowns, the less dominate, has taken home in my Green Zoanthids. The other plays in my purple tip anemone and is fine. The problem is the clown is slowly turning black. It started as small dots. The dots not raised, just discoloration. Now the clown is almost all black. I've included some pics. I think the zoanthids are slowly digesting the fish. He is now swimming slowly and drifting like hes dying. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Thank you much, good stuff. I've now taken the clown out and acclimated him into a quarantine tank until the spots clear up.

Was he trying to host the zoas?

You may have to remove the rock of zoo's if you want to keep the fish as he well probably try hosting there again when put back.

i am going to get him well, then try to put him back in the display tank. If he tries to host the zoanthids again i probably give him away i guess.
