Marti, please forgive my lack of knowledge, but if there is not u-tube (siphon tube) how does the water get from the box in your tank to the box that is attached outside the tank in order for it to drain down to the sump? Did you have this set up at your house?
Marty, please resale the box and sump filter. I don't think the u-tube will be easy to find and i am not sure how much it will cost or what size I would need to get for that size box. Also, after discussing it farther, the 10 gallon sump is too small for my 75 gallon. I am afraid It will overflow when the pump is turned off. Sorry, I didn't think it through far enough when I told you I wanted it. Ronda
Sorry so long in replying. Thing's have been a circus for the last couple of day's. around here. You're right the sump is to small for a 75 gallon. It works well with a 29 or so. No problem!
For a U-Tube I just have flexible vinyl tubing from Home Depot. It works great and cost about $3 so I wouldn't let the lack of a U-Tube scare anyone off.
