I'm looking for a float switch kit with a 36" waterproof lead that I can mount in the bottom of my fresh saltwater container to turn off the pump when the water has been pumped out. I don't really want a DIY kit that has to be assembled if possible. Anyone have any suggestions?

i have some magnetic switches. they are stainless steal with 1/4 shaft. they are very dependable but not sure if thats what you are looking for.

So that would mount through the side of the container? can it be set to be normally "closed" so as long as it's floating, the circuit is on? I'm kinda skittish about metal in saltwater water but stainless should be OK?

Do you have the rest of the parts where all I have to do is mount it and plug it in?

depending on how you mount it. stem up or down. it will either remain open or closed. it is stainless and shouldnt matter. i can bring one tomorrow to the meeting if you would like to see one?oh and yes, it mounts thru the sidewall and can be ran with another for an on/off system.
