So yesterday I ran a jug of RODI. I had a water event and lost about 3 gallons. So I mixed up 4 gallons of water in this clear jug and set it on the shelf in the garage. Awfully cloudy I though. First time mixing up salt mix straight in the jug, usually in a bucket but didn't have a clean one. Hours later this stuff was still cloudy as can be. I thought "bad salt"...nothing else had been in the jug but RODI water. So I let the sump run a few gallons low overnight....no big deal, since I had overflowed and not evaporated the salinity was still on. So I'm sitting in the garage a few minutes ago having a smoke staring at this jug of cloudy water. Then it hit me. It was cold water. I hadn't used a bucket so no heater. Stuck a thermocouple in it.....63.9.

    Stroke of genius.
