I was in the saltwater hobby for over 4 years and had no leak problems. Due to money and school I had to tear my tank down. 14 months later I decide it's been long enough without a tank so I get a 120 gallon, used. Which has been nothing but leak problems. I've Resealed it two different times. Needless to say i have given up on that tank. The only thing I did different was set the tank on carpet?? Could that cause a seal to bust?

first when you say you resealed it did you break down all the glass and reseal it or did you silicone the inside?
you may also want to check the top suface of the stand to se if it is level and flat also sometimes moving a tank will cause a seal to leak.

Ok! Maybe I siliconed the inside of the tank. I wouldn't have the first clue on how to break it down.

Most of the time silicone won't bond to already cured silicone.

Located in Jonesboro, arkansas. Would love to fix the tank but don't have the first clue on what to do. I have priced new tanks with my deminsions, overflow, and drilled. They are way to high for me. Thanks!
