What would happen if I hooked a 54 watt bulb into a 110 watt ballast? (compact fluorescent) I see a lot of material on other boards about people that do it because the smaller bulb is now brighter, and other that say they would never do it again but aren't really specific why. Anyone done it?
Sooner like 6 month life to 5 month life or 6 to 1 month? Thanks, though, that actually cleared up a lot.
