OK, I have my new 120 gallon 60X18X26, now for my first build question. If it was your syatem, would you build a sump/fuge or buy one? any suggestions would be helpful.

I would probably build my own out of a 55 gallon tank.

Isn't February's meeting all about building things like this, could be a fun club project to do at the meeting.

Id build me one. Acrylic isnt too hard to work with. I have built a frag rack already and plan on making either a frag tank or surface viewer for taking pictures.

If viewing the sump/refugiun as a display system is not an interest to you, I would use one of the stock tanks from tractor supply or most any co-op. They are almost indestructable and very easy to drill and plumb. The water volume can be greatly increased with very little expense. Photos can be view of Ralph's system on the Aquarist of the year 2008 thread. There are other members that have this type of sump who may be able to give you more information. I am planning on using them in my new tank room build.
