What light would be good for corals on a 29 biocube? All I'm running now are the PC led combo factory lights.

Hey I just retro fitted a black box from ebay into the hood of a 29 biocube its a heck of a lot cheaper than ordering a retrofit kit. It all depends on how handy you are, I was able to take all the factory guts out and replace them with the bigger fans and drivers of the black box LEDs I have the factory on off switches as the on and offs still and drilled the two holes for the dimmer switches. I wish I took pictures of the whole process and posted about it but it turned out great and works like a charm. I will get around to posting some of the final looks tomorrow when the lights turn on.

Here are the pictures I was talking about. Sorry if they aren't the best the tank is in Illinois and I had to get my mother to take the pictures. Also I told her she needs to clean the hood haha

All the guts are still tucked away behind the factory clear plastic cover so there are no wires showing. Also I will add the fans on the black box are a lot larger than the stock biocube fans and I would recommend using the bigger ones just to make sure everything stays cool even if you step down from t5 to LEDs the cooler temp will lead to a longer LED life.
