I am looking to start slowly swapping my stock Red Sea Max T5's out for Giesemann T5's and was wondering where the best place to get them might be? The Fish Tank in LR has them in stock for what seemed to be a pretty fair price, but I just wanted to ask if there may be a better place to get them (LFS or online)? I am going to need 6 total (3 daylights and 3 actinics). Suggestions?
Mix the colors up a lol more man. You can get some awesome growth with a combination of different colors other than the 50/50 coloration Raffle grabber
You might be able to find a cheaper price online, but by the time you figure in shipping, The Fish Tank or Blake are going to be your best bets. I'd go with what Whitney is saying too. Mix it up a bit, I have a 4 bulb and have 1 actinic, 1 50/50, and 2 aquablue+ bulbs. The color combo is more yellow than what most like, but it's perfect for me. Just my 2 cents.
Mixing colors is amazing, we just put some wavepoints on our 75 with a 10k, 12k, actinic blue, and a pink. It looks absolutely amazing!
Would have to agree. Put in some pinks and some dark purples, along with 10ks and 20ks If you have six slots only one should be a true actinic.

Kim, Do you think he could beat the 13 to 20 dollar range per bulb? The Fish Tank in LR has quite a few to choose from and they are all around 13 to 17 bucks a piece. The most expensive one I saw was about 20. I plan on do all different colors to get the best growth and look.
