    Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a new AquaFX Baracuda 100GPD RODI unit only to find out the best my water pressure could muster is 30 PSI. AquaFX recommended atleast 40PSI.....I had the city come check the lines and of course the issue is my regulator for my house.....Instead of the RODI unit sitting around and not being used I decided to purchase a booster pump. Attached are some pics of the setup and it was fairly easy to hook up. The booster pump comes with fittings (wrapped in plumbing tape), rubber bushings for the mount so the vibration doesn't does't make too much noise, and a pressure sensor for the output line. After some fine tuning using a 6mm allen wrench, it's running at 78PSI (80 is the max AquaFx recommends). I've got a timer set for 3 hrs to see how much RODI this puppy will make. Figured I'd share my story for those of us with low water pressure in our homes.

About 17-18 gal of RODI water after 3 hours of running.

I guess that's what I am use to. I don't have a pump but do have about 30psi, guess I get about 5 gallons per hour if I have clean filters

My pressure without a regulator was over 80 psi. I have my regulator turned down to about 60 psi but my guage on my RO/DI only says 52psi. Most city water systems require a regulator and most are adjustable. If you look where your water line leaves the meter you might be able to find and adjust yours regulator to get better pressures. I was told not to go above 60 psi as it might damage ice makers and water dispensers on refrigerators, etc.

Looking good Allen! I like the way you have your unit plumbed.
